Recent News Stories of Clothing Donations

Recent news stories have reported that businesses are profiting from clothing that is donated through some of the large donations bins you see in parking lots and other locations.

We would like to assure our supporters that all clothing donations to the North End Family Centre are never sold and that all donations are given freely to families in need.

The North End Family Centre accepts donations at our location during our community hours. You are always welcome to have a tour to see how we operate. In fact, we would love to give you a tour, so you can see first-hand how your support is making a difference!

Christmas Can Be Diffitcult

For many families the Christmas season is a very difficult time of year, highlighting how different their lives are from the all the gifts and happiness they see on TV and in the movies. We will be open from 12 - 4pm on Christmas Day for anyone that needs a friend and a safe caring environment.

We need your help. We will be hosting our Annual Community Christmas Party this Monday, December 12th. The Community Christmas Party is an event we host for North End families, it is our chance to enjoy a safe, fun, family Christmas party with our friends here in the North End.

We're in need of new toys for children of all ages and Christmas baking for this non-fundraising event. If you can donate toys or Christmas baking please call our office at 582-7927 or drop in on weekdays between 9-4:30pm. Thank you very much for your support!

We are very excited to announce that starting today we will be open for community hours five days a week. Until this point, we have only had community hours three days a week. Thank you to our supporters! It's because of you that we're able to take this step.

Thank you to Pastor Gerry and his church Soul Sanctuary for donating a brand new HP office printer to our office. It's a large printer that meets our printing needs!

Attention all MGEU members! You can now support the North End Family Centre through the All Charities Campaign. All you have to do is list us as one of your charities and your support will deducted off your pay cheque each month.
