Ways to get involved:
Community Living Room
The Community Living Room is our foundational program. We are looking for people that want to be a friend and offer a listening ear. You don't have to be a professional counselor, you just have to offer a kind listening ear. Volunteering in this area provides you with an opportunity to build strong relationships with community members and other volunteers.
Plan a Fundraiser
Do you have an idea for a fundraising event to benfit the North End Family Centre? We would love to hear it and support you in any way we can!
Clothing Sorter
The Clothing Exchange is one of our most heavily used areas. Join us in sort incoming clothing donations and help us make sure all community members have fair access to the clothing.
Events Team
The Events Team plays a vital role in the success of the North End Family Centre. The Events Team is a group of volunteers who work behind the scenes to help put on events throughout the year. Events Team members can sign up for one event or multiple, it is up to you!
Administrative Support
Help out with general office duties during the weekdays which include data entry, filing, phone calls, word processing, and mailouts. This important behind-the-scenes work keeps our programs running smoothly.
Additional Opportunities
Want to use your skills to make a difference? We are looking to add to our growing list of qualified professionals in a wide variety of fields to lead or take part in our evening workshops and groups. If you are a qualified professional in any field that could benefit the community, please contact our office and we will find ways to put your unique skills to use!
Group Opportunities
Get your church, high school, business, family, or community group together to volunteer in different service projects. Your group can join us for a few hours, a day, or even a multi-day experience.
